5 years at Magic Leap

Magic Leap Studios has closed its doors. I had the honor of working on some amazing new technology, to ask and answer some questions that people haven’t even pondered. It was something else. But I’m ready and excited for what’s next for me. I’m making some posts on Artstation about my work, so if you want to follow along, Artstation

And here is our final project. It was set to debut at SXSW, but unfortunately COVID happened and it was canceled. This may never have its time in the sun, and thats unfortunate. But our leadership worked hard to allow this to be released. We worked very hard to show only the most beautiful and engaging content for the device and highlight everything that made it amazing. If you have the chance and access to a developer’s ML1, I urge you to try it.

I was honored to be responsible for much of the lighting, the texturing, and all water on the project. Supported by an incredible art and engineering team this was unforgettable and worthwhile challenge to prove out storytelling in a brand new medium.
